Preparations Are Complete – Portugal Awaits!

After months of preparation and training, the final workshop before departure to Portugal has been held. Students had the chance to learn about the mobility program, travel logistics, and the expectations and goals of the project.

This year, the project gathered students who achieved the highest scores in strong competition, and they are:

Babin Rino
Beri Aryan
Hazdovac Marulo
Hrboka Luka
Jurin Luka
Kovačević Renato
Popović Luka
Zrilić Josip

Their accompanying teacher on this journey will be Lidija Antišin, who will provide support and guidance throughout all project activities.

Meeting with the Principal – Motivation Before the Trip!

Before departure, the students were welcomed by Principal Marin Perinić, who shared valuable advice and words of encouragement. He emphasized the importance of gaining new knowledge and experiences but also of representing our school and city in the best possible way.

"This is an opportunity to learn, but also to explore the culture, customs, and way of life in Portugal. Make the most of every moment, be curious and bold, as this experience will bring you valuable knowledge and lifelong memories." – the principal told the students.

We Must Not Forget Our Logistics Support!

Although he is not traveling to Portugal, Vid Košta played a crucial role in the project's preparation and organization. He was the right-hand assistant to teacher Lidija Antišin and the students throughout the process. His effort deserves great recognition. Obrigado, Vid! 🙌

What Awaits Students in Portugal?

During their stay in Setúbal, students will participate in various workshops and practical activities focused on maritime studies, navigation, and innovative learning methods. Besides professional development, they will have the opportunity to explore Portuguese culture, history, and landmarks, as well as build new friendships with peers from other European countries.

This is only the first step in the Erasmus+ journey for the Maritime School of Zadar, and we are confident that our students will proudly represent our school and gain invaluable experiences.

Safe Travels and Successful Learning!

📍 Boa viagem, marinheiros! 🚢🇵🇹💙
