As part of the Erasmus+ project Knowledge Navigation - Maritime Erasmus Horizons, our students and teachers have actively participated in preparations for their trip to Seville, where they will gain new experiences and develop professional competencies. The workshops were held over several months, providing students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all aspects of mobility.
Professional Workshops
In the initial phase of the workshops, students were introduced to the rules of conduct in an international work environment, the importance of professional communication, and ethical standards in the workplace. They also prepared resumes in the Europass format, which will assist them in future applications for internships and jobs.
Technical Preparations
To be as well-prepared as possible for work in the maritime sector, students learned about their future tasks and responsibilities through practical examples and case studies. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining a work diary, which will document their professional development during their stay in Seville.
Cultural Workshops
Students explored the history, customs, and natural features of Andalusia. The focus was on understanding the cultural and economic specifics of the region, and students had the opportunity to plan and propose trips and activities that will enrich their stay in Spain.
Language Preparations
Special attention was given to improving communication skills in Spanish and English. Through interactive exercises and simulations of real-life situations, students prepared for everyday communication in both professional and social settings.
